Service
Long before the campaign, there was service.
Jack serves as president of the Milton First Responders Foundation, where he came up through the board as treasurer before taking on the role — supporting the police officers and firefighters who answer our community's call on its worst days.
As grants coordinator for Rotary District 6910, he helped direct funding to service projects across Cherokee and North Georgia, work that took him well past the county line long before there was a district map involved. He remains an active Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Alpharetta.
He's a volunteer and patron of the Milton Historical Society and a past member of his church council. He is also the founder and president of the North Fulton Young Republicans, an organization he built from scratch.
The City of Milton recognized his comitment to service in 2025 with its Silver Horseshoe of Service Award.
His Work
Jack spends his days helping families plan around decisions made by people who never meet them.
Jack Miller is a financial planner and partner at a local fiduciary wealth management firm, where he advises families, retirees, and business owners across North Fulton and Cherokee.
Fiduciary is a legal standard, not a slogan. It means Jack is required to put his clients' interests ahead of his own on every recommendation he makes. He believes taxpayers deserve that same standard from the people who spend their money.
That work is why the questions facing this district aren't abstract to him — property tax bills outrunning fixed incomes, retirements that have to survive inflation, small businesses planning around rules written by people who've never made a payroll.
Jack and Taylor
They grew up here. Then they chose it again.
Jack and Taylor grew up a few miles apart. They met at Milton High School, went on to the University of Georgia, and when it came time to decide where to build a life, they chose to come back.
They wanted to raise their family in the place that raised them — and they understood that whether this community would still be that place in twenty years wasn't going to decide itself.
Today they're fixing up a house on one of Milton's open roads, on land their neighbor's family once farmed. They're members of Living Faith Lutheran Church, and Taylor coaches cheerleading at Milton High School.
